Park Rules

A confirmed booking constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions as stated.

• Check in 12pm | Check out 10 am
• Late Arrival: Reception closes at 5 pm. 
• Speed Limit: Throughout the park, the speed limit is 5 kph.
• Noise Policy: Quiet time from 10 pm. No generators allowed at any time.
• Vehicle Policy: Only one car per booking is allowed at all times. Strictly no tailgating is permitted.
• Helmets must be worn when riding bikes or scooters. No riding after dark or riding in or around amenities. 
• EV charge point is located in the town centre. 

Payment Policy

• A deposit equal to the first night’s tariff is required to secure the booking.
• Full payment is due 14 days prior to arrival.
• A valid card is required at check-in to cover any incidentals or damages.
• All guests must be listed on the booking. The standard rate includes accommodation for two people; additional guests will incur extra charges.
• Site and accommodation fees must be paid in advance at all times.

Site Conditions

• One equipment type per caravan site (e.g. one van or one tent).
• One vehicle per site only.
• A maximum of 6 people is permitted per site 
• All sites are unallocated – specific sites cannot be arranged in advance

Cleaning and Damage Policy

• All sites must be left clean and tidy.  
• BBQs of any kind are not permitted on or around accommodation. 

Park Conduct & Noise Policy

• Quiet time is from 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.
• Loud parties, excessive noise, foul language or illegal behaviour are not acceptable and may result in eviction.
• Smoking is prohibited within 5m of playgrounds and in shared amenities 
• Children must be supervised at all times
• Campfires & coal, wood or heat bead fuelled BBQ’s are not permitted at any time.
• Generators are permitted between 12pm and 4pm every day.
• Please ensure that children do not play around the amenity block and the main entrance to the park.

Vehicles & Visitors

• Visitors are not permitted to bring pets.
• Guests are responsible for visitor behaviour.

Pet Policy 

• Pets are welcome at Rapid Bay Campground
• Dogs must be on a max 2-metre leash within the campground at all times. No barking/yapping permitted.
• Pets are not allowed in or around amenity blocks.
• Owners are responsible for cleaning up after pets and any damage caused.
• Non-compliance may result in eviction without refund.

Cancellation Policy

• More than 14 days before arrival: Full refund, less a $25 admin fee, or option to hold full credit valid for 12 months.
• Within 14 days (peak) or 7 days (off-peak): No refund, reschedule or credit. 
• Peak periods include Summer school holidays, Easter, long weekends & local events.
• Off-peak is all other times.
• No refunds for early departures, weather, Covid, or late arrivals.
• Seasonal promotions may carry non-refundable conditions, clearly noted at booking.
• Prices are subject to change.
